The food was good, and dinner left me full. The hotel is a bit dated, but it has what you need. There are lots of staff from overseas, so I’d guess getting by without Japanese is fine. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor baths, plus a separate bath everyone can use, but only until 7 pm.

Dinner was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. The place has an old-school feel but still does the job, and the front desk staff were helpful. We booked a Japanese-style room with breakfast and dinner. One downside: free Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby. Also, during my stay, the outdoor mixed onsen only allowed women to enter.

The food portions were generous and really well prepared, and the onsen had a lovely view. It felt like a great example of Japanese hospitality, with excellent value for the money. Highly recommend.
