Kamogawa Sea World Hotel

Families with toddlers are especially well catered for here. There are lots of diaper-changing cribs, at least one diaper disposal pail on every floor, and an indoor play area beside the restaurant. They even provide baby baths, soaps, and toys in the big bath. Guests can also reach the aquarium directly by a private hotel pathway. The building has a traditional, old-school Japanese hotel feel, but it’s well organized and clean, including all the public spaces. The hospitality and support were excellent, and I really appreciated the staff’s help.

It was a lovely place to unwind after an eventful day at SeaWorld next door. The staff were friendly, and there’s a decent-sized public onsen. If you’re visiting from overseas and want a bit of Japanese culture, you can book a tatami room. Staff come to your room to set up the futons. The rooms do feel dated and could use some remodeling.

The service was outstanding. It’s been a long time since I experienced Japanese hospitality like that again. Our stay was relaxing and fun, the room was cozy, and the food was great. The rooms and facilities are old, and the walls are thin, but my son wants to stay at Kamgowa SeaWorld again for his birthday.

A great stay for kids, especially in a tatami room with futon. You can enter Kamogawa seaworld from 9:00.
