The food was surprisingly delicious. Breakfast and dinner were both above average for hotel food, and it seemed the chef had put thought into making everything tasty. The staff were accommodating and nice, and I'd recommend having both meals during your stay. The rooms felt modern, but the hotel and facilities seemed dated, with details overlooked. There were water stains on the toilet sink and shower glass, though the important areas were clean. I stayed on a Wednesday when it was quiet, and the place felt a bit creepy, especially the onsen. It was down creepy stairs beside a dark, empty hallway. Lots of rooms and offices were empty and pitch black, perhaps only used by golfers during the day. The Snoopy items were only for guests who booked Snoopy rooms. I didn't get to see Snoopy details on the golf course since I didn't have time to play this trip. If you've got a car and find a good deal, I'd still recommend staying here, even though it feels very empty on a weekday.

It's quiet, has a good breakfast, and there's a washing machine for clothes. But getting here is difficult, and it's quite far from town. Don't book without your own car or if you're not used to driving Japan's narrow roads. Avoid driving at night if unmarked narrow roads make you uncomfortable. There aren't dinner options beyond heating ramen in the microwave.

Set on a golf course, the hotel has fantastic views. The spacious room came with a mini kitchen and washer-dryer. Staff were pleasant and always helpful, though their English was very limited. Breakfast was tasty, with choices made each day. With a rental car, the service quality makes it well worth staying.

We played two rounds at ESV, a well-maintained course with beautiful surroundings and hilly terrain. It was interesting, and we hope to return soon. The road to the hotel was no problem at all when driving in summer. Our suite had been newly renovated, which is pretty rare in Japan. It was modern, spacious, and comfortable, with cooking facilities, a washing machine, and a large bathroom with a tub. The bed area was a little tight. We stayed two nights and had dinner at the hotel once. The Western course with beef steak was well executed, and the Japanese breakfast was good. The gentleman serving us was professional and attentive. Kosuke, who manages the hotel and golf club, is fluent in English and helped arrange everything.
