Ask for a room at the back of the hotel, which is on a road, and you'll get a forest view. The cedar bath house is worth enjoying too. It's not an onsen, but it's very relaxing. The rooms are huge and the shared spaces have lots of room to hang out. The design is so good that the website photos really don't do it justice.
