Candeo Hotels Nara Kashihara

I had a comfortable 3-night stay and would consider coming back if I'm in Nara again. The room was quite spacious by Japanese hotel standards, and the location was handy, close to the station, a supermarket, and plenty of restaurants. The lobby has a little corner with extra toiletries like cotton buds, razors, and tea. The amenities were generally good, though the hair dryer felt old and sometimes stopped working. Ask the front desk if you need coffee. They offer buffet breakfast, but I didn't try it this time.

The room was clean but pretty cramped. The breakfast buffet was great. Parking is in a nearby building, and the front desk isn't on the ground floor, which is a little inconvenient.

We were tempted to change our plans and stay longer. The location is great, close to the rail line without feeling overrun by tourists, and we found two of our best meals nearby. The rooms are large for Japan, the beds were the best we've slept in here, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. There were fantastic mountain views, especially from the dining area. I couldn't try the spa area because of my tattoos, which would have been the icing on the cake. Still, I would definitely come back. Can't recommend it enough.

We only stayed one night, but the room was spacious compared with other hotels we've stayed at in Japan, and the view was great. The staff were friendly and spoke English, and the hotel provided amenities like toothbrushes. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the train station.
