Capsule & Sauna Kawasaki Big

With hotel prices shooting up, this place was a lifesaver. There are magazines, a sauna, a Jacuzzi, massages, and food. Don't expect too much, but on a dark night these things can be a light in the dark.

Everything was good.

The capsules have a good amount of space, and there are plenty of TVs and several body scrub stations. Some of the facilities feel old, but the value is excellent, and it's a solid choice if you enjoy public baths. I always have trouble choosing between this place and Rex. For sauna and cold bath options, though, I prefer this one: there are low and high temperature saunas, around 75°C and 100°C, plus room-temperature and roughly 17°C cold baths. You also get a radon bath and two baths that change daily. I was surprised to come across pay channels while flipping through the TV channels. Times have changed.

I often stop by after work. The bath and sauna are downstairs, with the feel of an old-school traditional Japanese sauna. I sweat plenty, take a dip in the cold bath, then rest in a chair. There are jet baths, an artificial radon bath, and changing baths too. The body scrub feels great. The restaurant on the second floor is tasty and reasonably priced, and it's a nice place to relax even on the three-hour plan.
