The room is small, but that's normal in Tokyo, and it's very affordable for a decent place in a great location. The train stations are super close, and there's a Lawson around the corner. Amenities are great, and I can't complain about the customer service. Highly recommend.
I was assigned a smoking room. It was small and really stinky, which was disappointing.
The staff are polite and respectful, but if you don't speak Japanese, communication can be difficult since only a few understand English. Finding vegetarian food at the hostel is also very hard, although there are nearby Family mart and 7 eleven combinis. The place is very close to Mizonokuchi station. Once, staff hadn't booked our dinner when we asked. They let us know ahead of time, so we could make other arrangements, and apologized by giving us a ¥1000 Quo card.
The hotel's restaurant is delicious, and breakfast is served buffet style. Everyone here is extremely helpful. If you need someone who speaks English, Nori is your man. Top chap.
The rooms are clean, though on the small side, and the staff are courteous. Someone should be able to speak English. It's easy to get to the train station and nearby markets.
