That free breakfast was delicious, and the rice was fluffy. I also really liked the fresh vegetable salad and the simmered dishes, which had a gentle, nostalgic flavor. Toyoko Inn’s breakfast has really stepped up. Thanks for the meal!

There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants around, so finding somewhere to shop or eat is easy. The hotel itself is quiet, tucked down an alley off the old Tokaido road, about a 2-3 minute walk from the central ticket gates at Keikyu Kawasaki Station. It’s a small Toyoko Inn with just one elevator, which can get backed up at breakfast and checkout. Give yourself extra time.

The room and bed were comfortable and spacious. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, and the streets get busy at night. Some spots off the main road are hard to walk through, especially if you’re a woman on your own, with groups of people drinking around. It’s worth thinking about where you’ll go out to eat.
