Villa House Hisago - Vacation STAY 61410v

We spent two nights here during sakura season and loved the privacy on this quiet stretch. The row of Sakura is right outside on the patio. The room was spacious, the amenities seemed very new, and we had a really nice stay. A hidden gem.

The bed was roomy, the pillows soft, and I slept very well. The room was spotless, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the toilet was clean with a washlet. From the balcony you can see the Kawazu River, and there's a table and parasol for sitting outside, though people on the riverside promenade can see you clearly. It has a condominium-style layout, but the kitchen only has a kettle and microwave, no stove. There were green tea sachets and cups on a shelf. The bathroom had a shower but no tub, with rinse-in shampoo and body soap. No bath towels were supplied. At the sink there was a toothbrush set, face towel, and hair dryer. I booked through Agoda and stayed one night over two days. Check-in and checkout were awkward: there was no reception desk, and the room key had been left unlocked when I arrived. I left it unlocked when I went out too, and wondered if that was really okay. I emailed to ask but didn't get a reply, so maybe I've misunderstood.

It was new and very clean, but the decor felt sparse and there wasn't much storage. The kitchen was barely equipped, with no coffee maker, pots, pans, or dishes. Given that, I thought the price was a bit high.

The rooms were all clean, and I'd definitely be happy to stay here again.
