We spent the evening in the spa area, which has a huge range of facilities and lots of different pools. The view of Tokyo and Mt. Fuji was amazing at night. There are several places to eat as well. It seemed better suited to families and younger couples.

The pools were a huge hit with the kids. They had so much fun that they want to come back tomorrow, and I might just take them. Seeing how happy they were makes it hard to say no. Bring lunch, though. It seems the food place is closed when it isn’t a weekend. If it’s shut, all you can get to eat is cup Raman from a vending machine. There are drink machines too. At lunchtime I saw lots of kids come in looking for food, and their parents had to tell them there wasn’t any.

We went on a weekday, July 14, 2025, and it was barely busy. With hardly anyone waiting, we got to go down the slides over and over. We tried every pool, including the onsen pools, and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

I only visited the spa and pool area, which seems good for families. The women’s area has an onsen. Quite a few things, including the steam room, were under maintenance. Towels now cost extra on top of the higher entrance fee. The facility could use refurbishment, since there are lots of loose tiles and cracks.

The staff were friendly, and the spa resort is very nice. Kids and adults can enjoy the pools, and the place looks amazing at night with all the lights. There are fireworks and plenty of other activities for the family. The food was delicious, with lots to choose from. Highly recommended.
