Cottage Amagoya

We spent mornings on the terrace with breakfast and our own coffee, and it really set us up for the day. The cottages are private, with kind, friendly owners, and have a living room, Japanese-style bedroom, mini-kitchen, bath, and restroom. Two powerful heaters keep things warm, and the amenities are well supplied, so you just need to bring groceries for meals. There’s no Wi-Fi at the moment, so make sure you have mobile reception, but that didn’t bother us. A great place to unwind.

Such a lovely place, and the service was wonderful.

The kitchen sink was small and made washing up less efficient, so I was glad I’d brought a work table after reading that there wasn’t much counter space. Even so, the room was clean and a good size, and I was very happy with the facilities. We’d planned to camp, but rain was forecast, so we stayed in the cottage instead. The free BBQ setup on the balcony was a real help, and the rain didn’t cause any trouble. It was quiet at night, with birds and insects to listen to, which felt refreshing. We missed out on seeing the stars because of the rain. Check-in and checkout were easy, and we had a comfortable stay. Thanks so much! ＼(^o^)／
