We were four in the family, including our baby, and there was enough room for him to happily crawl around. The staff were friendly and helpful, and having Go and Shogi in the room gave us all something to enjoy together for the first time in a while. The room is so spacious that the rental humidifier didn't seem to keep up. You may need to do something about the dry air.

I found the tatami room comfortable to relax in every day. It was large, nicely decorated and had a remote control, which was handy. I personally prefer white lighting to just warm tones, and in that respect I liked this better than other hotels. I'd choose Nanbu Hotel again for a future business trip. Thanks to the front desk staff for their courteous help.

The rooms look old-fashioned, but they were clean. There's a noticeable cigarette smell, so I wouldn't suggest staying here if you're a non-smoker. They lend out air fresheners, which might help if you can put up with a little of the smell. I don't smoke, but even so, I'd consider coming back. The staff were really good, and the location is hard to beat: a convenience store is nearby, and it's just a one minute walk from the train. This was my first stay at Nanbu Hotel. I hope to return.

I was looking for somewhere to sleep after the year-end party so I wouldn't have to deal with a train or taxi home, and booked this reasonably priced hotel near the station right away. My room was in a separate building, with a shared bath and toilet. I only needed a warm place to lie down after drinking, and the air conditioning did the job. The front desk staff seemed very worried, but everything was fine. I'd stay here again if I get the chance.
