EN RESORT Grandeco Hotel

We came for our first visit as a couple during an autumn trip. The room was very clean and had a nice view. Everyone on staff was friendly and attentive, and one staff member spoke Thai and was a real help to us. Next time we'd like to come in winter, since there's a place to ski or snowboard near the hotel.

We spent three days at this mountain resort, right beside a ski area, though we weren't there during snow season. The rooms are spacious, the buffets are great, and the staff were so polite, helpful, and friendly. They speak English too, so that was easy for us. The director or manager seemed to be everywhere, always smiling and making sure things went smoothly. It's also within about a 1.5-hour drive of many beautiful scenic places. I've stayed at quite a few hotels, and this is hands down one of the best. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We visited with a large group of American tourists over a holiday weekend, and the staff were gracious and accommodating throughout. Management and the team really tried to make sure our stay was pleasant. Our room was spacious and almost spotless, and breakfast and dinner buffets offered plenty of Japanese and Western choices. There were lots of activities to choose from, including marshmallow roasting and gondola rides. The hospitality was outstanding.

The hotel has indoor and outdoor onsen baths, plus buffet breakfast and dinner. The room was spacious and the staff friendly. For skiing, the shuttle drops guests at the ski center, or you can ski back to the hotel on an intermediate slope. There's also a shuttle to and from Inawashiro station.
