The location is very convenient, close to the train station, the castle, and the famous Sunday Market. There are 7-11 and Lawson just down the street, and I liked being able to control the air conditioner and heater myself. The rooms are small but functional. The curtains don't cover the windows properly, so light leaks in, and the thin walls let sound through easily. Breakfast was basically bread snacks, not a real breakfast, though it's free, so you get what you pay for. The serious problem was housekeeping leaving our room unlocked and the door ajar while we were out all day. We came back to find it open. Luckily nothing was stolen, but that's unacceptable and why I gave service only two stars. With that security breach and the poor breakfast, I can't recommend this hotel.

The staff were super friendly, and it was quiet outside. The location is the main draw, with everything within walking distance. Breakfast wasn't really my style, but it was fine. I found that putting a towel along the bottom of the door helped dampen corridor noise.

A small, typical Japanese hotel with the basics. It's tidy and clean, and the free breakfast is simple, mostly bread and spreads. Shops, restaurants, and the main street are all within walking distance.

The rooms are a good size, and the decor is modern and clean. The hotel sits on a quiet side street, yet it's only two tram stops from Kochi JR station. The covered shopping Street is 200m southwest of Hasuikeomachi tram station (Hasuikemachi-dori), with lots of good restaurants there. Recommended for Kochi.

The rooms are tiny and have almost no amenities. It feels like an old, cheap apartment building that was quickly turned into a hotel. I suppose it's fine if you don't have many other options and can get a room for under 10,000.
