The air conditioner in the upstairs sleeping area kept beeping at regular intervals, and I couldn’t sleep properly. The place faces the road, with a traffic light right by the entrance, so there was quite a bit of noise. It may be fine if you’re not sensitive to that. There were some nice touches: the mini kitchen came with disposable chopsticks and other items, the fridge was bigger than a standard hotel one, and the pajamas came as separate top and bottoms. The low beds felt safer for children, and having a drum-style washer with detergent was handy. The Pop-In Aladdin was useful, but a hanging light sat in front of the projector, leaving its line visible on the screen. The kids’ phone we used to keep in touch wouldn’t turn on. The stairs between the first and second floors had no walls or handrails in some places, which seems unsafe for small children. There was also nowhere to bathe or change, which was inconvenient. The overall style felt fun and exciting, but the toothbrush set was sticky and unusable even though it was unopened. Maybe the heat had something to do with it.

The house was really comfortable inside, and Hirome is close by. We stayed out drinking at Hirome until around 9 p.m., then came back and relaxed. Great for anyone wanting a comfortable place, especially with the projector and Instax camera to use.

We were five people and had plenty of space. The projector was fantastic, and we were very happy with how many amenities were provided. Parking was a little hard to find, and getting a large car into the spot was difficult. It was a really comfortable stay, and I’d definitely like to come back.

The place is stylish and a great fit for people who enjoy the outdoors. The bathrooms and toilets were clean, and I especially liked how the toilets smelled. The washer-dryer was a big plus, and the hairdryer even dried clothes perfectly. The kids had lots of space to move around, which made me appreciate vacation rentals all over again. It isn’t cheap, but I felt the stay was well worth the price and would happily come back. Just keep in mind if you have small children that the stairs don’t have handrails.
