Privatestay Hotel Tachibana

My room was roomy and very clean, and even though it faced the street outside the station, it stayed nice and quiet. The hotel is really close to the station. The entrance is tucked into an alley, though, so it can be a little tricky to spot. I stayed on January 22, 2026.

We were three family members staying in July. Our room was behind the reception floor and turned out bigger than we'd expected. There are lots of bars around the hotel, so the area gets pretty lively. If you like going out for drinks, it's handy to have the hotel so close when the night is over.

My room on the eighth floor was a good size, and the toilet was spacious. I liked that the bathroom had a separate washing area and bathtub. The heating wasn't very effective during my one-night stay starting Friday, January 10, 2025. There was an extra heater, but I was still cold, so I might stay again but would avoid winter. Kofu Station is close, which is convenient, though the affiliated parking lot is a bit of a walk for drivers. The view looked onto the roof of the neighboring building. On an earlier stay, I faced that building's wall instead, and the room was pitch black even with the curtains open.

I liked the roomy bedroom and large bathtub, and there were plenty of thoughtful amenities. The self-serve coffee and tea were neatly set up, the elevator arrived quickly, and the front desk staff were very kind. It's right near the station but still quiet. The main letdown was the window, which had no view.
