The staff were so accommodating, and the meal was delicious with generous portions for the price. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it!

The campsite was clean, the staff were friendly, and the lights between the private tent sites looked magical before they switched off at 10 PM. Our stay was two days and one night on a Saturday in February 2026. We used the powered private site called "Ran" and had plenty of room for our 600x380cm tent. Another camper was nearby, but it didn’t bother us. The restroom and washroom building was close by too. The main thing I noticed at night was passing traffic and trains, since the highway and railway are nearby. If you want to fall asleep to nature sounds, this probably isn’t the campsite for you. I didn’t visit the nearby hot springs this time, but would like to next time. At the entrance, reception and the cafe were in the building to the left of the parking lot. The receptionist was kind and attentive. I had a huge serving of French fries and the men’s staff curry for lunch. The curry was a little spicy, as the menu said, but tasty. Ketchup and mayonnaise came with the fries, so it was nice to switch up the flavor. There was terrace seating, though I wondered if it was meant for people having BBQ. After lunch we set up camp. The shower and sauna are behind a wooden door at the back of the restroom building. I booked an available early evening sauna slot when I arrived, even though I hadn’t reserved ahead. It cost 2,000 yen per person for 100 minutes, which felt a bit pricey since there was lots of time. Rental clothes were available for 500 yen per person, and I rented them. You change in the shower room before using the sauna, so you might run into someone who’s just there to shower. There are two shower rooms, like the ones in internet cafes, and three lockers with keys. The women’s area had a hairdryer, but no other toiletries such as shampoo, so bring your own. I think the reservation site said the showers were coin operated, but I was lucky to find them open 24 hours. The washing area was spacious, and there didn’t seem to be a wait. Bring your own sponge and detergent. I left mine there because they were a pain to carry around, but other campers used them without knowing, so please bring your own if you use the wash area. The staff were kind and approachable.

What stood out most was how gently the female staff member treated our children. She let them ride in a cart and talked to them kindly, and they really took to her. The rooms were very clean, with both air conditioning and heating, and the trailer house had a faucet, which was handy with kids. The toilets were clean too. We’d never camped before, so I was a little nervous bringing our five and two year olds, but we had a lovely one night stay. Our plan included a dome tent and a trailer house. We ate in the tent next door, which had a griddle, so we could cook like at a regular campsite. The kit for making meat and hamburgers was fun for the kids. You can hear some cars and trains, as other reviews mention, but it shouldn’t be a problem unless you’re very sensitive to noise. I’d definitely come back.

We booked a dome tent as a birthday treat for the kids and had a luxurious day. The food was delicious, and we were happy with both the quality and the amount. The room was a relaxing place to unwind. We got there about 30 minutes before check-in, and the staff kindly let us check in early, which helped a lot. Highway and train noise was noticeable, but the attentive service and excellent facilities more than made up for it.

It’s a very good campsite overall, and my family and I found our spacious private site comfortable. Being able to play in the river was a big plus, and I’d like to stay again. The problem was that our site sat along an easy shortcut to the wash area. Lots of people kept crossing through it casually, far more than just one or two, and it was really unpleasant. I tried to ignore it, but there were too many. Some campers may not know the rules, so people should be reminded not to enter sites where others are staying.
