Hotel Alpha-One Koriyama-Higashiguchi

It's right outside Koriyama Station's East Exit, so the somewhat lonely feel of that area didn't make the walk to the hotel intimidating, even for women. Having a Family Mart connected to the hotel and open 24 hours was another plus. The interior is a little dated, but it's looked after and was fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The free soft drinks at the vending machine in front of reception are worth making use of. I was here on a business trip and found my single room fairly spacious. There's also a Family Mart connected to the first-floor front desk, which was convenient. It's quiet at night, so I slept easily. I'd recommend it if you prefer somewhere away from the city's bustle. The hotel itself gave me no complaints, though many nearby restaurants close on Sundays, which could feel a bit lonely on a long business trip. It's right in front of you when you come out of the Koriyama Station access corridor, which is quite a long walk.

A hotel I often stay at in Koriyama. It's on the east side of the station, opposite the west exit and city center. The connecting passageway makes it an easy walk to the station, and I recommend it as a good way to get some exercise. The point card gives cashback once you collect enough points, so I definitely recommend using it.

I was here for work, and as a business hotel it does the job. Walking to things from the hotel is a bit inconvenient, but having a convenience store on the first floor that you can enter directly from inside was handy.
