The food and easy transport made me want to book again, so as next year's organizer I’ve already put in a tentative reservation. We had our district general meeting today, and the 4,500 yen per person meal plan had lots of choices and left us very satisfied. Bringing your own food is allowed, too. They charge 60 yen to chill beer, but I still think that’s inexpensive compared with other hot spring facilities. They even give you ice for mizuwari. The price is due to change next year. The baths have clear, colorless, thick-feeling water, and the late opening hours are handy. There’s a hot indoor bath, a warm one, a cold bath, an outdoor bath, and a sauna, plus 11 washing stations. Even on a weekday people kept arriving, mostly older customers, and the building has a real Showa-era feel. You pay 780 yen for two hours as an adult, get a locker card key at reception, and can pay with electronic money. I felt a bit hurried getting in, so relaxing might be difficult. Younger visitors may prefer Hibari Onsen. I’d been curious about this place for a while, and it was a useful experience.

The receptionist was lively and quick, which made a good impression. I’d been given two complimentary tickets by an acquaintance, so I went for a soak. It was a busy Sunday and finding room to wash wasn’t easy, but I could take my time in the hot spring. My body warmed up nicely, and the aches and tiredness went away. Somehow the crowded part turned out all right, and I left very satisfied. Thanks so much, I’ll come back m(__)m
