Hostel & Bar CUORE KURASHIKI

Room 212, a four-person room, looked like it had been renovated recently and was wonderful. I liked the hostel feel, with a more upscale and intimate atmosphere. The staff were young, trendy, friendly, and helpful. The bar and diner downstairs felt a bit pricey, but the value overall was incredible.

The retro vintage feel made the place really cozy, and the ground-floor bar was laid-back. Staff were super friendly, and breakfast was pretty good too. Restrooms and showers are outside the rooms, but they’re very clean and private enough, and there’s a sink in each room. Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

The bar and restaurant space is really nice, and the simple breakfast was good. This is a budget hostel, so the room is about what you’d expect for the price, but it was comfortable for a short visit. The bathrooms were very clean.

From the station it’s an easy walk of about 10 minutes, and the location is fantastic for seeing the historic center. The canal, Ohara Museum, and lots of cafés and shops are only seconds away. My single room was clean, with a large comfortable bed and a heater. It also had a sink, two mirrors, and a chair. The downside was being right beside the staircase. Even with a double door, I could hear people shuffling and stomping on the stairs, talking loudly, and laughing. Cigarette smell sometimes drifted up from downstairs too, which I didn’t like. The showers and toilets were clean and had amenities. There’s a bar on the ground floor that makes very good espresso.
