I accidentally booked a smoking room, but it was clean and didn’t smell of smoke. There’s a handy vending machine in the hallway, and you can walk to the station, restaurants, and Bikan historical quarter.

The location is great, just a minute’s walk from the station. Rooms are modern and clean, with comfortable double beds and renovated bathrooms. The English-speaking staff were friendly and helpful.

Cleanliness is excellent, and each room has its own air-conditioning system. There weren’t any major noise issues from other rooms, and there’s a common bath. It’s decent value for the cost. The hotel mainly serves domestic tourists, so non-Japanese guests may find communication harder, since there are quite a lot fewer English instructions and guides than at the more common hotel chains.

A hotel with its own Onsen is always worth considering 😉
