The hostel upstairs has one of the loveliest common rooms I've seen on my travels, with traditional tatami. Downstairs there's a small cafe with a simple menu, wonderful coffee, curry, and dessert. The staff were super lovely too. Sadly, this place is going to close soon, so it's now or never to visit Kure and stay here!

The staff made us feel very welcome. I'd especially recommend the place if you speak a little Japanese. Just be aware that the closing time could be a problem if you like going out at night.

A cozy, very nice spot with excellent coffee and great hospitality from the staff. I'd recommend stopping in for lunch or a coffee recharge during a short break.

Such a nice atmosphere at this guesthouse. A shame it closed on October 21, 2018.
