The layout worked well for us, with a large living room upstairs connected to the kitchen and dining table. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a powder room downstairs, plus parking for up to two cars out front. It’s a warm, cozy house, about a 10-minute walk from Bang Bang, one of the best restaurants in town.

I’m writing this so other people don’t run into the same problem. I booked this property through an OTA and prepaid by credit card, then paid my card bill. One day, someone emailed me saying the reservation was rejected, with reasons and a photo I couldn’t verify. The management company asked me to cancel it myself through the OTA. The accommodation refund can be applied to a future card bill, but I still have to pay the foreign transaction fee. The company also claims to be “one of the most trusted companies in the area.” How am I supposed to trust that? Be wary of promises from this property, since you don’t know what reason the company might give to reject your booking.

The town and restaurants are in a great location from here, and overall it was a great place to stay. The beds were hard as rocks and the pillows very small, though. That’s not my cup of tea, but someone else might find them comfortable.

The bathrooms are large and nice, and one has a tub. The living area is spacious, and the rooms are a good size for two people each. I love this place, though I wish the pillows were bigger.
