Intuition

The car service made it easy to get around Hirafu, though the location itself was convenient too. We had a great three-night stay at Intuition, and the staff were very friendly. Jacob was especially upbeat, drove us around, and had good recommendations both on and off the mountain. We used the relaxing onsen every day. Breakfast was a nice start before skiing, and the hotel never felt too busy.

Getting to the gondolas or anywhere in Hirafu was easy with the complimentary drop-off and pick-up service, and downtown Hirafu is only a five-minute walk away. We were a family of four with two teenagers, staying for a week of serious powder skiing, and the three-bedroom apartment worked perfectly. It was spacious, with everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. The staff were friendly and helpful. This was our first stay at Intuition Niseko, and we absolutely loved it.

The natural onsen was the perfect place to unwind after a day on the powder, and I’ll be back without question. Intuition Niseko is tucked among birch trees, just a three-minute walk from the Ace Family Quad Lift, so the slopes and village are close without all the bustle. I loved the thoughtful facade that echoes the trees, and the scenery was a great bonus. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out to Mount Yotei or the forest. The residences are spacious, modern, and fully equipped. Staff made the stay feel personal, from their restaurant suggestions to the complimentary shuttle. Heated ski lockers kept our gear dry, a practical touch that showed how much they’d considered skiers.

The onsen downstairs was a lovely extra, and I loved the place. Mount Yotei looks stunning from the room. It’s a great pick for a ski trip, with easy access, cozy interiors, and a welcoming, family-friendly feel. A warm, memorable stay.
