It was warm, comfortable, and clean. The house is farther down the mountain, with a five-minute walk to the main road. There are free shuttle stops within 100 feet in either direction, which is handy if you’d rather skip the extra walk. Snow cleats will make the trek much easier. Downtown and the slopes are within walking distance from the houses in Niseko.
Our booking was cancelled without any explanation. I tried contacting the owner or agent several times and never got a reply. We also had to chase things up after being threatened with a booking fee charge. Be careful, and don’t book your flights expecting to have somewhere to stay unless whoever runs this place has actually communicated with you. Very poor form. I’m still waiting for a response.
The rooms were nice and clean, and the scenery was awesome, but there were problems with English.
