We may have been unlucky and ended up in a room that hadn’t been renovated, but it had a pretty unpleasant old smell. The beds were even worse. You need somewhere to sleep at a hotel, but these were so hard you could see the metal springs through the sheets and feel them against your back when you tried to sleep.

The event halls had an old-school feel, and the hotel is probably an older one. I was there for an enkai and had a good time. The staff seemed very nice and looked after people who’d had too much to drink.

It’s a big place, but I didn’t do much there apart from sightseeing. It’s right beside a bunch of pachinko and slot places, if that’s your thing.

The buffet breakfast was nice, the staff were friendly, and there’s a shopping complex nearby.

A good place, right next to Apita shopping center.
