I was really grateful to Naeem for looking after me when I caught a bad cold midway through our nine-night November trip with friends. He was working at the counter when I asked for help, found a nearby hospital, and guided me there by mobile phone. Over the next few days, he checked in on me regularly through WeChat. That extra care meant a lot. The location is convenient and the room and facilities were nice. I love Kyoto, and if I visit again, I’ll choose Hotel Bon Kyoto Station because of kind staff like Naeem.

Having a kitchen in the room was really useful, and there are several places nearby to get food, clothes, and other things, including Family mart, Lawson, and AEON mall. I visited most of Kyoto’s attractions during my stay. Getting around from here was easy, and the hotel is close to Kyoto station. I’d come back.

Our room was a good size for two adults and two kids. Kyoto Station is just down the street, and AEON mall is a short walk away. I left something behind in the room, and the Bon Kyoto team sent it on to my next location through a transport service. I can’t thank them enough.

Just a short walk from Kyoto Station and Aeon Mall, the hotel is in a very convenient spot. The service was excellent and we had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend it.

We loved eating breakfast on the big balcony and watching the trains pass. Our room had two balconies, a microwave, refrigerator, full sink, and hot plate. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the AC worked well, and both the lobby washer and the bathroom’s clothes-drying feature worked perfectly. The location was a favorite part: about an 8-10 minute walk from Kyoto Station and across from Aeon Mall. Being so close to the station made day trips easy. Of the four hotels we stayed at in Japan, this was our favorite.
