There was nowhere to set down a phone or watch, and no bedside table. We also had no dining table, chairs, or kitchen paper towels. The kitchen was nearly unusable, with no knives or frying pans, and not even a way to cook rice. The homeowner seemed to know nothing about it. Don’t waste your money here.

I’ve never had a worse guesthouse stay. The whole place smelled musty and moldy, the bedding seemed so unhygienic that everyone got terribly itchy, and the bathroom was extremely damp. The spiral stairs were narrow and slippery, a real fall risk while carrying luggage. There wasn’t anywhere comfortable to sit with a laptop or work on a PC. The third-floor room was tiny and right beside the bathroom, which was especially disruptive for a big group. The owner kept asking when we were leaving, even though checkout was still a long way off. It felt like they wanted to rush us out, and it was rude, stressful, and made the stay very unpleasant. The floor hygiene was poor, and there was a strong soot-like smell. The staircase was easy to slip on while going up with things, so you had to be extra careful. There was no proper spot for guests to sit and use electronics.
