The owner was really accommodating when we checked in late, and the location made our short Kyoto visit easy. We were traveling with our ten-month-old, and could walk to everything we wanted to see. Nishiki markets are just a few minutes away. We’d happily stay again, and I’d recommend this guesthouse.

We were there for four nights, and the flat had plenty of room, plus a kitchen and washing machine. The owner was very kind. He doesn’t speak English, but uses Google Translate to help you out. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and we could walk to Gion and Pontocho, our favourite parts of Kyoto.

The WiFi was really fast, and the apartment is in a fabulous spot, very close to Nishiki market. The host was lovely and used Google Translate to explain everything.

It was nice and quiet, with everything close by. The station is an eight-minute walk away. There’s lots of open living space and room for luggage, and the heater and air conditioning worked perfectly.

Even though this lovely home is right by Kyoto’s central shopping district, nights were incredibly quiet and the atmosphere was great. The main shops and restaurants are only about a five-minute walk away. We loved our two days here and had the best experience. I’d definitely recommend it when visiting Kyoto.
