My family and I had a great stay. The traditional Japanese-style setting was comfortable, and our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. You couldn't ask for better hosts and caretakers. It's a bit of a walk from the bus stop and the rest of town, but that means a pleasant stroll through a residential neighborhood. The bus stop for town is about 13 minutes away.

The hosts were really welcoming, and the room was roomier than a typical Japanese one. It’s up in the mountains, away from the crowds, so getting to the nearest bus stop takes about a 10-minute walk. In hot weather that can feel a little tougher, but it’s nothing too bad.

The staff were very kind, though the place is a long way from both the center and the bus station. We had very cold weather during our stay, and the toilet and bathroom out on the terrace weren’t pleasant in those conditions. I imagine they’d be lovely in warmer weather, especially with that amazing view.
