My wife and I had an amazing stay at Tradimo Kyoto Gojo. Japan is clean and safe, and there’s so much to see and do. The resort felt right in the middle of it all, with a new, amazing property, very courteous staff, and a subway station just a few paces away. The room has a combo washer and dryer, plus slippers, robes or pajamas, and those amazing Japanese toilets! Lol. We’ve been HGVC members for years, and this is by far the nicest resort we’ve stayed in. For the subway, Gojo station has north, east and west exits. Use the north exit, and when the stairs end at a T-section, turn right. You’ll come out right by the hotel. It’s one stop to the main Kyoto station, where the sky hop bus starts. You can also change trains there for the JR rapid special to Osaka if you want to see the nightlife and have dinner at Dotonbori.

The hotel was clean and thoughtfully laid out, and the pillows were so good we considered stealing them. We didn’t! But we thought about it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Kenta, Nana, and Ayako deserve a shout out, and sorry if I misspelled any names! It’s a great place to stay in Kyoto, one stop from Kyoto Station on the Karasuma subway and a few blocks from nishiki market.

The room was spacious enough for four, with one king bed and a sofa bed, and everything was set up for four people. There’s no room dining or breakfast, but a seven eleven is across the street and plenty of restaurants are nearby. The pantry has good equipment and cutleries, a big refrigerator and a washing machine. The location is very good. It just opened in March 2026, and we really enjoyed our stay, especially traveling with kids or friends.

This new Hilton grand vacations property has great facilities and a central location. Gojo metro’s north exit is within walking distance, and it’s one stop to Kyoto station for the Shinkansen to cities like Hiroshima. There are lots of restaurants nearby, including a 711 across the street. Highly recommend.
