I ended up waiting an hour before I could check in!

We found it easy to get around on foot, with both the station and Aeon nearby. The room was quiet and clean, and our kids were especially pleased to have a bathroom and two bedrooms. Even on a really hot day, the air conditioning in every room, bathroom included, kept things comfortable. Dinner was included, with the ingredients waiting in the fridge and a pot available, so cooking was simple. We stayed as a family and would come back if we get the chance.

We spent four days and three nights here as a group of five, three adults, one child, and one elderly family member. The whole house is rented to one group, tucked among private homes, so it feels secluded. Kujo Garage is close by and handy for sightseeing by bus. Check-in is at a reception desk between the station and the inn, where they explain how everything works and give you the code for entering and leaving. At checkout, just lock the door when you go. No need to return to reception. Upstairs are two roomy guest rooms. Each has two beds, a TV, and a futon in the closet. In the longer room on the right as you reach the top of the stairs, there's a small safe in the TV stand, though we couldn't use it because there was no key. Air conditioning is in the bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. The first floor has a Japanese-style living room with a table, five low chairs, and a large TV. It seemed to have about nine regular channels, and Netflix may be available with a subscription. There's also a futon, iron and board, and vacuum in the closet. The kitchen has a round table with four chairs, fridge with bottled water, electric stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine with detergent, folding drying rack, and basic cooking supplies like knives, boards, bowls, kitchen towels, instant coffee, and tea bags. The bathroom was comfortable for me at 170 cm, with enough room to stretch out in the tub. There are steps inside, which may suit older guests, a water heater, and both a fixed and handheld shower. Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. The washroom has a big mirror, hand soap, cleanser, toothbrushes, razors, hairbrushes, towels, and cups. There's a separate shower room too, though it's rather small, as is its changing area. The toilet has a washlet, and four rolls of toilet paper were supplied. Simple slippers are by the entrance. A few things bothered us: the stair handrails felt sticky, the bathroom faucet was loose and the water pressure strong, and the clear glass bathroom door wouldn't shut fully. The basin was as shallow as a salad plate, and I wasn't sure whether there was face wash. I also wished there were plastic wrap in the kitchen. When we used the tub's automatic fill, the water stopped about 30 cm short, so we had to top it up from the faucet. I didn't test that carefully, so there may be some error in that observation.

Six of us got together for a girls' stay and had an easy, relaxed time, almost like being at a friend's home. Paper cups would have been handy.
