The staff and service were amazing, and the rooms were very nice. There are lots of dog-focused perks too, including a playroom. Even without those extras, it’s a very good hotel. The location is a little outside the center, which some people may like and others may not. Prices change a lot by season, so value is hard to judge, but what we paid was very reasonable for this quality. I didn’t find any real downsides.

We paid a really good rate for two nights here. The hotel was so quiet and very clean, and the room was probably the biggest we had in Japan. I was happy we found a dog-friendly place and booked it.

There’s free hot dogs at 8 every night, and people gather in the common area to hang out. We didn’t bring a dog, but it was nice seeing other guests with theirs. The hotel is tucked into a neighborhood, yet still near train and bus lines. I liked the quiet and took a bus to Gion, about 20 minutes away, during the day. If you want nightlife right around the hotel, this probably isn’t the place. It’s a cute, clean, welcoming, and fun hotel.

We didn’t have a dog, but the welcome was still really warm. There are lots of complimentary things, like coffee, juice, and food, and the service was faultless. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and it’s great value for money.
