After I missed my train to tokyo, they had rooms available for me at a reasonable price. The room was clean, and the public bath was tidy and relaxing. It was a nice experience, and I’d recommend it.

The hotel is in a quiet part of Kyoto, and you can safely walk around in the evenings. It’s within walking distance of Kyoto Station, Kyoto Tower, and some local sightseeing spots. There’s a large shopping mall nearby, plus McDonalds and 7Elevens for anyone craving fast food. The traditional rooms and food served in a traditional style give the place an old-fashioned feel, and it also has a traditional bath. If you’re looking for a traditional hotel in a quiet part of Japan, this is it.

We were really well looked after here, and the service and experiences were great. I absolutely loved the place. You must stay here when travelling in kyoto.

The room was decent and comfortable, with a bathtub despite the small toilet. There’s an elevator too. It’s quite far from Kyoto Station, though, so walking there isn’t a good option.
