The house had all the comforts, and then some. Bikes guests can use and a washing machine were a huge bonus. Really good stay, and the location was great too!

I appreciated getting such a lovely place for a reasonable price. Kanon's accommodation is a solid base for a Kyoto trip, with a calm setting near the subway and not too far from the city center. It’s especially handy for visiting sights in eastern Kyoto. The room felt a little dry, though that seems typical of Japanese homes. It was warm, the hot water worked well, and all the kitchen equipment was in good working order.
