Kiori Collection Nishiki

Located just steps from Kyoto’s legendary Nishiki Market, KIORI Collection Nishiki is a distinctive boutique hotel that captures the essence of Kyoto’s culinary culture and refined lifestyle. As part of the prestigious KIORI Collection series, this intimate property offers a sophisticated and highly personalised stay for travellers seeking both cultural immersion and understated luxury. Opened in 2026, KIORI Collection Nishiki features only around 12 carefully designed rooms, each with its own unique theme. The hotel’s design concept draws inspiration from the vibrant energy of Nishiki Market and the art of Japanese dining, blending contemporary comfort with thoughtful details that celebrate local food culture and craftsmanship. The result is a warm, atmospheric environment that feels both exclusive and deeply connected to its surroundings. One of the defining features of KIORI Collection Nishiki is its strong connection to the local food scene. Through collaborations with traditional market vendors and renowned local shops, the hotel offers exclusive culinary experiences that allow guests to engage with Kyoto’s rich gastronomic heritage. Flexible check-in and check-out options, along with personalised services, further enhance the sense of freedom and comfort during the stay. The location is exceptional. Situated right next to Nishiki Market — often called “Kyoto’s Kitchen” — the hotel places guests in the heart of the city’s culinary and commercial life. From here, it is easy to explore the surrounding streets filled with traditional shops, cafés, and cultural attractions, while remaining close to major transport links and other key areas of Kyoto.
