The arrival instructions were very clear, and we found it a good place to stay. The traditional house is central to most places, with buses and trains available. It’s dark inside, though that may not bother people who are out all day and only come back to rest. The water pressure was excellent and the water stayed warm, which we appreciated in the cold December weather. The heaters and AC units also worked for heating.

We loved the traditional feel and the bath overlooking a garden. It’s a great place for groups, and the garden-view bath was wonderful. The inn is close to Hankyu Omiya station, which makes getting around the city easy, and it’s convenient for sightseeing.

Everything in this delightful house is functional and tastefully decorated, and it feels like a real haven. It takes you back to the Kyoto of earlier days. Shops are close by, and the location is convenient, so I’d recommend it to any traveler.
