It’s a spacious, comfortable mansion that you can rent entirely, and being only a short walk from Fushimi Inari Shrine meant I could head out sightseeing early and enjoy the sauna afterward. Still, the value for money didn’t feel great. I booked after seeing the hotel website photos and expected a nice inn for the price, but the stay was different from what I’d pictured. It seems there may be a fixed price per person, so I’m unsure whether the rate changes with the number of guests. Please ask them for details. There are no meals included, and it’s a self-catering house in a residential area, which made the price feel a bit high.

We felt at home very quickly. It’s a huge, distinctive house, comfortable and well placed, and it worked really well for a family.

Such a beautiful mansion!

The price is high. It’s a shame to stay only a short time.

A place for wealthy visitors from abroad.
