If you're planning a trip to Kyoto, grab a stay here. I'm an experienced Kyoto traveler, and the newly renovated Toji Suite is a must. There are two supermarkets nearby, and Toji temple cherry blossoms are close. A one-minute train ride gets you to Kyoto station downtown. The staff are charming, and the facilities are excellent. I'll be back next year. 10 out of 10. Thanks, Toji Suite team. Nice.

I found this place on Airbnb. It's very new and everything works. The dragon-themed room looks beautiful, even better than the pictures. The bus stop is a five-minute walk away, and Toji temple is close by. It's a beautiful temple and less crowded.

The room was spacious, unlike a typical Japanese hotel, and the four separate beds made it work well for a small family. A door divides two of the beds for extra privacy. It's clean, the staff are really friendly and speak good English, and the washer-dryer was very handy after several days of travel and laundry. I really love this place. I'd come back and recommend it to friends traveling to Kyoto.

It feels like getting a hotel for an Airbnb price. Everything, from the entrance to the room itself, has a modern feel. The place is quite new, so everything feels fresh. I didn't expect it to be this good, and they even gave us a welcome gift and another one at checkout. If they keep up the cleanliness and service, I really think this hotel could be on a par with another 4-star hotel near the Kyoto station.
