The house feels wonderfully homey, and the layout works really well. The first floor has a living room, kitchen, dining area, laundry room, and a separate toilet with a bathtub. Upstairs are two bedrooms, with space for about six people. It’s a bit of a walk from Kujo subway station, but the comfort made up for that. The kitchen already has seasonings, cooking tools, and dishes, so there’s no need to buy anything extra. Laundry detergent and bleach are also provided. The host is very nice and thoughtful. It’s tucked into an alley, so cars can’t come through, and it was incredibly quiet with no traffic or people disturbing us. I’ll definitely book here again. We stayed October 8th-10th, 2025.

The owner was so kind and helpful, and the house itself was peaceful and had everything we needed. It’s a spacious two-story Japanese-style home, just like you picture one, and staying there felt like being in a movie. Kyoto Station is a 10-15 minute walk away, with bus stops about five minutes away.
