The onsen was great, with lots of amenities there, so you only need to bring a towel. Tattoos are allowed, too. Breakfast had a good range of authentic Japanese choices along with some Western food, and the location works well in such a walkable city. My room was large by Kyoto standards, with a massive, extremely comfortable bed. The only real snag was the breakfast tickets. I didn’t get them at check-in, and each morning I had to explain the issue again. Staff seemed to think I hadn’t brought the tickets down, though the mix-up was on their end. Otherwise, it was a great stay, and Kyoto is beautiful.

The bathhouse was a relaxing way to soothe my aching feet after walking about 20k+ steps a day. Breakfast was especially good and beautiful, and the staff were kind and helped us several times with different things. We loved our stay, with high-quality service and amenities throughout. The location is convenient for many bus stops, and the train station connecting to Kyoto Station is about a 10-minute walk away.

The customer service stood out most. Everyone on staff was warm, polite, and very attentive. We had a pleasant stay in a clean, spacious room, although the view wasn’t much to speak of. The onsen was relaxing and well kept, but got a little noisy when some guests were there. The hotel is in a quiet part of Kyoto, and I’d happily stay again if I return. The generous toiletries were a nice extra.

A good find in a quiet, clean, and safe area, with metros, restaurants, and cafes nearby and Nishiki market about a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast was included, with a nice mix of Japanese and Western food. The staff were very nice. The rooms are very small, though I understand that’s common in Japan, and the bathroom was tiny. There was nowhere to unpack clothes, which made a longer stay harder, and the pillows had beads inside that I found very uncomfortable. Still, it was a nice, quiet, clean stay.

The room was lovely, the food was great, and the bed was super comfy. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was a generous size. The atmosphere felt calming and welcoming as soon as we stepped inside. Brilliant experience, I’d stay again in a heartbeat.
