Our four-night stay was great: everything was clean, the staff were genuinely friendly, and the location was nearly perfect, within walking distance of Kyoto central station. The rooms were comfortable and large enough, with very big beds. The bathroom was small but functional. Breakfast offered a nice range, including salmon, and a full setup for making sushi. One drawback was that they were almost always out of croissants, one of only two bread choices, so I think they should stock more for foreign guests. Free items like toothbrushes and body lotion were available near the elevator. When I needed a hair salon and nail salon, two receptionists helped me find a nearby place that accepted walk-ins, and it worked out perfectly. When I came back and showed them my hair and nails, they were so excited. They were really kind and friendly. I’d definitely come back if I visit Kyoto again.

The shower had a bad sewage smell that they couldn’t get rid of, so we had to put up with it. Even so, we had a great stay. The family room was spacious and comfortable for four, and the hotel is just a five-minute walk from kyoto station. We also loved the free bar service available every day from 2pm. It’s a real USP compared with other hotels.

The room had enough space for two, with room beneath the bed for our luggage. It also had a bathtub, and they supplied bath powder, so a soak at night was nice. The hotel is near 7Eleven and Kyoto Station, which is another plus. When I first arrived in Kyoto, they greeted me with a welcome drink, with options like wine, beer, whiskey, tea, and coffee. The lobby has a spacious communal area, and there are lots of amenities to make the most of the room. Very good value, and such a nice experience. I’d definitely stay here again on another Kyoto visit.

The room was a little cramped, but that was understandable. The welcome bar was the best part: during the allotted hours you could have unlimited cocktails, tea, cola, juice, and coffee, and bring your own food into the "reception bar". There’s a pantry with unlimited ice and water, plus a paid washer and dryer. A wash costs 300yen, and drying is 100Y for each 30inute, with soap included. The lobby has outlets for guests waiting around and free lockers for their bags. It’s also pretty close to the train station. I’d definitely recommend it!
