There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, including a 7-11, breakfast, lunch and dinner spots, and boutiques. We loved this small hotel. Our room was spacious for our family of four, with a Japanese modern design, and the whole place looked great. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we needed them. I'd happily recommend staying here in Kyoto.

We spent a full week here and had a really nice stay. The hotel is small, with lovely rooms and a great location for a good price. Our room was very clean, roomy by Japanese standards, and had huge beds and warm lighting. The staff were helpful, though we mostly just said hello or goodbye when passing the entrance. It sits right in the middle of things, a two-minute walk from different metro stops and buses, and near one of Kyoto's best places to eat, with a famous ramen street. We really enjoyed our stay.

Kyoto had lots of good hotel choices, but I'm glad we picked this one. It's a small hotel with few amenities and a bit farther from the train station, but the room made up for that. I especially liked the bathroom and tatami room. There's a great coffee and soba place next door, and izakayas within a five-minute walk. We'd definitely come back.

You can't check in early here, not even by 30 minutes. The building is easy to miss from outside, but once inside, the hotel is amazing. Our room was very spacious, with a tatami area, a full living room, and a separate bedroom. The bathroom was big too.
