We enjoyed staying here. It’s a very nice place, and I really recommend it. Thanks!

It has a nice Japanese style, and all the comforts we needed, including a washing machine. It’s a bit far from the center, but that’s fine if you’re after something authentic and don’t mind going out. We enjoyed our stay :)

Nene House worked well for the two months we spent in Kyoto while my husband was there for business. It was spacious and had what we needed for a longer stay, though he would have liked a desk. The busy road right beside the machiya made it quite noisy. There’s nowhere to keep bicycles, and some help from Shiki with that would have been useful.

This is a small house over two floors, and I think it was renovated fairly recently. There are lots of bus lines nearby, along with local shops, supermarkets, and bakeries. I’d recommend it for a family visiting Kyoto.
