This two-story house is gorgeous, in a lovely part of Kyoto and very close to a train station. Everything about the place felt carefully thought through. One of the most beautiful places I've stayed, absolutely lovely.

The design is beautiful and peaceful, the location is good, and the amenities are well supplied. The Wi-Fi was too slow, though. There are no handles on the bathtub, which felt a bit dangerous, and the stairs need handrails. Thank you.

There’s a supermarket and a very cheap revolving sushi place nearby, with plates for only 100 yen. The station is just a few minutes away on foot. It's a great place to stay in Kyoto, and I'd come back next time I'm here.

A very convenient place to stay, close to Nijo station and everything else. The neighborhood was peaceful, and the amenities were thoughtfully provided. 🤩

There were four of us for three nights, and it made for a really cool traditional experience. We slept on futons, a little uncomfortable at first, but woke up feeling refreshed. There are two toilets, an outdoor tub, and a shower. The stairs are steep, so take them carefully. It was a great place to sleep.
