Our group of five fit comfortably in the house, with three bedrooms: two had Western-style beds and one had tatami mats. The place was well appointed, and we’d definitely return to Takeya Gojo West. Its neighborhood made it easy to explore Kyoto. We could walk to Kyoto station, and there were also train options for getting there and visiting the temples east of the city. We’d recommend TGW.

We stayed for about a week, and it was comfortable enough to feel like home. Though the building is small, it never felt cramped, and it has loads of useful things: Wi-Fi, TV, water boiler, induction cooker, microwave, griller, a big dining room, two warm and cosy bathrooms, three spacious, comfortable bedrooms, and a washer and dryer. Everything was exceptionally clean, almost like new. Its convenient location also saved us transportation costs, with good restaurants, attractions, train stations, and convenience stores all within walking distance. It felt comfortable in any season or weather. I’d recommend this Airbnb to anyone, and would give it 100 stars if I could.
