Villa Terrace Maebashi Hotel & Resort

I liked the atmosphere, but the bedroom had a clear view into the washroom and dressing area because those doors were transparent. The bathroom blinds could also be opened from the bedroom side, so that space was fully visible too. I wondered whether this was just the room I had or if they were all like that, and whether there's a way to keep someone changing from being seen from the bedroom.

I was invited to use the place and was surprised by how relaxing it felt. Since it was in Maebashi, I'd expected less, but it was a great space for a group of around 20 to enjoy together.

From the second floor, the big windows look down into the living room below. Upstairs there's a large bed, two big sofas, a jacuzzi, two vanity tables in the bathroom and another in the room, plus a large TV. The two-story building is about 100 square meters, and dinner on the terrace is self-service barbecue style.

We were in Villa 3 on a family trip to Gunma Prefecture. The two-story place has a bright, light-oak look, and the water splashing in the basin outside on the louvered terrace was really soothing. It's close to the Gunma Prefectural Government Office, so getting to sightseeing spots was easy. The kids loved the big round jacuzzi tub upstairs. The king bed was a bit tight for four of us, so we slept on the two single beds in the downstairs living room instead. Futons would have been nice. There was karaoke in the living room too, which made the trip more fun. Downstairs, the dining area has a bar counter, refrigerator, ice maker, microwave, and other cooking utensils, so it worked for all sorts of things. The kids prefer rentals like this to hotels, and I'm glad we got to enjoy something out of the ordinary.
