Shizunami Resort Swing Beach Hotel

This seems to be one of the few places near Surf Stadium. The hotel is older, but the staff were incredibly nice, even with the language barrier. Our western-style room was dated, though large, fairly clean, and comfortable. I think only a few rooms have western beds and USA plugs. They couldn’t give us a slightly later checkout because the next guest was expected, even though most of the hotel seemed empty. The breakfast was a nice surprise, simple and healthy, with local items pointed out in English. The staff there were SUPER nice, and the kind man working alone would be enough to make me stay again. Surf Stadium and Shizunami beach are a short walk away. It seems to attract older tennis players, with big courts and groups of older gentlemen. The surf-themed remote work room was closed for some reason, which was a shame, though I did see families using the indoor pool. It was a walk to our room, and there are vending machines with alcohol.
