The location was really good, and the rooms were spacious. They even had larger rooms that could fit a lot of people together. The staff were very friendly and polite, and they gave us a free pack of matcha candies. It’s a really good ryokan. I’d love to come back.

The traditional room was cute and well kept, and the price felt fair. I had a good experience overall. The hot tub was unfortunately very dirty, though, and the room didn’t block out sound or light very well.

We enjoyed the private baths after a full day of walking, and yukatas were provided too. The room was small but comfortable. It was a lovely little Ryokan, and the owner kindly let us check in early after we’d spent hours traveling. A nice quiet break from the busy city, while still just a couple of minutes from the center and cultural spots. Would recommend it for a restful stay.

It’s in a quiet spot near the river, with central matsumoto still an easy walk away. Both buildings had their own little onsen, and the rooms had large windows that let in plenty of light. The facilities were kept clean and stocked, and the staff were helpful. A great place to stay.

The place was spotless and peaceful, which made the stay comfortable. I’d booked the wrong thing, but the kind elderly couple who run the ryokan accommodated me anyway and made me feel at home. Their warm hospitality made the visit special. I’d highly recommend it for a pleasant, authentic stay.
