On March 28, 2023, my wife and I checked in and left our car in the hotel's open-air car park for Y700/night. The European style hotel is easy to get to, though it isn't new, and reception is tucked away on the 1st floor. Our room had a very small TV but no wifi. Just after midnight I went to a convenient store. When I came back moments later, the door I'd used wouldn't open automatically. It was dark and there was no staff around. I was panicking when I spotted a notice in Japanese saying to use the backdoor. That door was locked too, but fortunately someone answered when I pressed the bell. We were the only guests having breakfast at 8am the next morning. After checkout, our car couldn't stay either.

We stayed in January 2022. There's a big onsen bathroom, and free all-you-can drink is served in front of the reception desk. The location is good. The facilities seemed to have been refurbished, but still felt a little old. The mix of Japanese and Western styles didn't quite come together.

The Italian restaurant in the same building made for a dinner I really enjoyed. This is a cheap hotel in a perfect spot for visiting the Dogo Onsen area, and for the price you get access to the hotel's own bath, which is said to use the same water as the Dogo onsen. My room was small and Japanese style, with a tiny bathtub, but that didn't matter much since I planned to use the hotel bath. The room wifi wasn't working, and the lobby bar was closed.

The sea bream dish was my favorite when I ate at the Italian restaurant. The pizza and salad were fantastic too.
